STAR juvenile My Ultimate Byron has been a shock scratching from tonight’s Breeders Challenge heat at Penrith.

The unbeaten two-year-old drew the inside of the second row in the $10,000 qualifier and trainer Jarrod Alchin did not want to take any risks with the gelding.

“He is a free running horse and I don’t want to take any risks with him drawn the inside of the second line,” said Alchin.

“A lot of things happen in two-year-old races and it’s not worth the risk for me so I scratched him.

“We will just wait for the Menangle heat where he can draw the front line.”

Alchin still has a three-pronged attack in the race with My Ultimate Cobber, My Ultimate Ronnie and My Ultimate Skeeta all facing the qualifier.

Alchin also has the talented Madrid in the fillies Breeders Challenge heat.

There are also Breeders Challenge qualifiers at Tamworth today.

The iForm team have put together their best bets for today's meetings:

Penrith best bet

Race 2: Far Out Bro (10)

Gets back in class here and the trip can offset the bad draw.  Very hard to beat.

Penrith next best

Race 7: Bella Clare (10)

Another who is back in class and if she can get the right trail into it, she can sprint past them.

Around the tracks

Tamworth best bet

Race 9: Deanne Panya (3)

Ran well when she resumed, gets back to the front row, and should control this.

Play the exotics

The Penrith quaddie

Race 5: 11,1,9

Race 6: 4,8,5,6

Race 7: 10,4,8

Race 8: 10,7,4,5
