Unbeaten youngster Winona Writer will be looking to make it four in a row at Bathurst tonight.

The Bernie Hewitt-trained filly resumed from a spell at Bathurst last week to win effortlessly by more than nine metres.

Winona Writer clocked the mile rate in 1:57, her slowest time to date.

The daughter of Sportswriter went a career best 1:54.8 when winning at Menangle at the end of her previous preparation last May.

She is one of seven horses Hewitt has nominated at the meeting.

Hewitt trained four winners at Bathurst last week and the success started with Winona Writer.

He then won with Mach Assassin, which was driven by his son Jason who also drove Chap Daddy to victory for his father.

Hewitt drove Cala Jane in the middle of the program also.

Hewitt has trained 56 winners in New South Wales this season.
