NSW: Coronavirus (COVID-19) Driver's Colours

13 July 2021

To strengthen the restrictions implemented by HRNSW and the NSW Government, effective immediately, HRNSW advises that all drivers MUST only wear one set of driver’s colours for all race meetings in NSW.

Under no circumstances are race colours to be shared by drivers at race meetings.

The use of Club colours will be permitted for one driver only following application and approval from HRNSW. Those colours will be laundered by the conducting Club between meetings.

Trainers are required to provide the details of the driver’s colours at the time of nomination.

In the event that more than one driver at a race meeting has advised of identical colours, HRNSW Stewards may supply distinguishable helmet covers which must be worn by each competing driver or provide a direction to use an alternative set of colours.

Drivers and Trainers are also reminded that they MUST continue to sign in with QR codes upon entry to a racecourse and a Club official will be on hand to sign drivers, trainers and horses in at the race meeting.
