A cavalcade of Group/Listed winning mares and winner-producing mares are represented by progeny in the 2021 Bathurst Gold Crown Yearling Sale, to be conducted by Graeme Board & Co at the Gold Crown Paceway on Sunday, March 21.

Among the race-winning dams are the NSW Sires Stakes 3YO Final and Tasmanian Oaks winner Second Dollar, Listen To The Rhythm (NZ Sales Graduette), the NSW Breeders Challenge Regional winner Whispering Lass and Blue winner Taylor’s Reason, Aldebaran (QBred Triad 4YO), Bettor Dreams (WA The Coulson), Our Ladylight (Vic. Breeders 3YO Classic), Speriamo (Redcliffe 2YO Sales Classic) and Tanamay (Tas. Blue Bonnet).

The dams listed in the catalogue have left Group/Listed winners such as the NSW Oaks and Bathurst Gold Bracelet winner Shes A Runa, the NSW Pink Bonnet and Victoria Sapling winner Courageousnquick, the Vicbred 3YO Final winner and Breeders Crown 4YO champion Dont Hold Back, Perfectly Written (Vicbred Homegrown 3YO Classic) and the NZ Sires’ Stakes 3YO Championship winner My Willow.

Other classic winners include (NSW Breeders Challenge Regional 2YO winner Taylor’s Mill and the Bathurst Sales Graduate winners Shoobee Doo, Our Sam’s Home and Send It.

Almost 75 per cent of the dams listed in the catalogue are race winners and 50 percent have taken records of better than 2:00.

Forty-five percent are winner-producing mares and 40 percent have left sub 2:00 performers.

The sale will be livestreamed with online bidding available.

Tonight's Swan Hill trots abandoned after power outage
Tonight's harness racing at Swan Hill has unfortunately had to be abandoned after an incident in the township resulted in a widespread power outage.
