Following industry feedback regarding options for Pathway eligible horses with horses with a low National Rating, Racing Queensland have made the below program changes effective Thursday January 22:
Thursday Redcliffe
3 & 4YO Up to NR48 Pace replaced by:
Up to NR40 Pace for Pathway eligible horses only (in other words horses up to NR40 with up to 3 lifetime wins or no more than 2 wins as a 3YO or older). Race field selected in Lowest to Highest field selection point order.
Friday Albion Park
3 & 4YO Up to NR50 Pace replaced by:
Up to NR45 Pace for Pathway eligible horses only.
Racing Queensland is committed to providing a pathway for younger, less experienced horses and those with a limited number of wins which is provided by use of the new Pathway system and is interested in any feedback which may enhance opportunities.
