Shepparton – Tuesday, 7th October 2025

R1 – 6:22pm – Thank You Mooroopna Volunteers Pace - 1690m

1 – Allornothinglevi

10 – Skyfall Benchmark

7 – Changeover Girl

8 – With In Reason

Strategy:

Allornothinglevi is a speedy beginner who drops back into a more suitable class and race setup. If he can ping to the front, there doesn’t appear to be much mid-race pressure, allowing him to dictate and prove strong to the line over the mile.

BACK: 1 Allornothinglevi – 2 Units (win)

R2 – 6:47pm – Saddleworld Shepparton Pace – 2190m

7 – Malava Miss

13 – Ohhemmjay Cresco

12 – Our Mystery Bet

6 – Mynameisruby

R3 – 7:17pm – Hygain Pace – 2190m

1 – Sassy Gabby

2 – Indi Party Mood

6 – Direct Command

9 – Ziegfeld

Strategy:

Sassy Gabby was strong first-up when she had no luck at all early, forced to restrain and finish off from the rear. Despite that, she rattled home strongly into third. With the benefit of that run and the pole draw, she’s primed to lead or find the trail, which should make her very hard to beat.

BACK: 1 Sassy Gabby – 3 Units (win)

R4 – 7:51pm – Woodlands Stud 2yo Maiden Pace – 1690m

2 – Captain Molly

9 – Big Nik

11 – The Golden Hook

6 – Where It Began

Strategy:

Captain Molly debuts here but looks well educated and professional from what we’ve seen at the trials. She began quickly to lead at Melton and fought strongly to the line. If she brings that same speed and toughness to race night, she’ll take plenty of catching.

BACK: 2 Captain Molly – 3 Units (win)

R5 – 8:25pm – Neatline Pace – 1690m

9 – Hoorah Philtra

2 – Cotchinellie

7 – Cee Cee Lou

8 – Edwarde Grange

R6 – 8:59pm – Munro & Associates Conveyancing Trot – 2190m

6 – Shes Sky High

8 – Hold That Magic

5 – Madge Egan

10 – Prohibited Bid

R7 – 9:33pm – GV Cups Cobram, Echuca & Shepparton Pace – 1690m

3 – Luverboy

1 – Byrneside Boom

8 – Lorimermajor

7 – Arraps

R8 – 10:07pm – Shepparton Cup Launch Tomorrow Night Pace – 1690m

6 – Iamawingate

5 – Nivekalon Eagle

9 – Regal Rock

8 – Altatude

Strategy:

Iamawingate is a veteran in terrific form, and after a series of bad draws he finally lands on the front line. Expect a positive drive — he maps to settle close to the speed in a race unlikely to be run hard early. With James Herbertson in the sulky, he’s capable of finishing over the top late.

BACK: 6 Iamawingate – 2 Units (win)

R9 – 10:37pm – Become A SHRC Sponsor Trotters Handicap – 2190m

8 – Bennie And The Jet

2 – Starlight Red

6 – Alfie Always

4 – Settle The Bill

QUADDIE (Races 5-8)

2,7,8,9,10

5,6,8,9,10

1,3,7,8

5,6

$100 = 50%

** A betting unit is typically a percentage of the total bankroll or the amount of money you are willing to risk on a particular bet – for example 1 unit is 10% of your bankroll, therefore with a $100 bankroll 1 unit equals $10.
