QLD - 2023 Standing Start Schedule

Once again Racing Queensland is announcing a standing start season commencing from April 2 with the Oakwood Capital Goldstrike series at Marburg and culminating with the $100,000 Redcliffe Gold Cup on June 24.

The $32,000 Flashing Red Handicap will also feature on June 3 with and a variety of lead up races scheduled to provide opportunity for horses to gain valuable experience behind the tapes and prove themselves for field selection in the major feature races.

The Showcase series for horses that qualified from performances at the regional shows will also feature at Redcliffe on June 16 with a $22,000 Final and $11,000 Consolation available.

To be eligible for the Showcase series horses will qualify on a points system from regional shows at Warwick, Toowoomba, Nanango, Kingaroy, Marburg, Gympie and possible other venues once approved.
