No slowing down as Jess smashes through 300-win barrier

Jess Tubbs brought up her 300th training success during the week, but has barely had a chance to reflect on the milestone as the hot form of her stable continues.

The Myrniong horsewoman picked up a winning double at Ballarat on Friday night and backed it up with two metro wins at Victorian harness racing headquarters on Saturday evening.

The flying La Captain registered the first of those triumphs with an all-the-way success in the first heat of the Alabar Vicbred Platinum Metropolitan Pace before stable star Triple Eight returned from a break with a top display in the Prydes Easifeed Pace.
