Tabcorp Park Melton – 7 January 2022

RACE 5 - VILLAWOOD PROPERTIES PACE (2240MS)

LETHERROCKNROLL NZ

Vince Dicocco, trainer of Letherrocknroll NZ advised following a disappointing performance at Tabcorp Park Melton on 7 January 2022 that subsequent veterinary examinations of the mare revealed no abnormalities and Letherrocknroll NZ has since had some time to recover. Mr Dicocco confirmed that the performance was attributable to the mare hanging inwards when wide over the concluding stages and his intention would be to make gear alterations to attempt to rectify this issue. Mr Dicocco added it would be his intention to continue with the preparation of Letherrocknroll NZ in the immediate future.  

RACE 8 – ALL IN ONE PROPERTY MERCURY80 (1ST HEAT) (1200MS)

EUREKA NZ

Andy Gath, trainer of Eureka NZ advised subsequent to a disappointing performance at Tabcorp Park Melton on 7 January 2022, that a dynamic endoscopic examination of Eureka NZ revealed the gelding to have a slight ailment and Eureka NZ will therefore undergo minor throat surgery prior to resumption.

Bendigo – 8 January 2022

RACE 6 - J & A MAZZETTI PAINTING PACE (1650MS)

FARADY HANOVER USA

Emma Stewart, trainer of Farady Hanover USA advised subsequent to a disappointing performance at Bendigo on 8 January 2022, that the mare had a minor skin infection which has been treated accordingly and it would be the intention to further continue with the preparation of Farady Hanover USA.

Cobram – 9 January 2022

RACE 8 – JIM PHILLIPS MEMORIAL COBRAM PACING CUP (GROUP 3) (2678MS)

BLUE CHIP DELIGHT NZ

Russell Jack, trainer of Blue Chip Delight NZ advised subsequent to a poor performance at Cobram on 9 January 2022, the gelding was undergoing a thorough veterinary examination at the Ballarat Veterinary Practice and such results will be publicised when available.

Swan Hill – 11 January 2022

RACE 3 – GRIZZLY ENGINEERING - FIELD BOSS BATTLERS IN THE BUSH MAIDEN PACE (2240MS)

TERROR OFA SAINT

Glenn Douglas, on behalf of trainer Julie Douglas advised subsequent to a poor performance by Terror Ofa Saint at Swan Hill on 11 January 2022, the mare had seemingly recovered satisfactorily, connections were at a loss to explain the performance and the intention is to persevere for one further start and should the mare perform in a similar manner, Terror Ofa Saint would likely be spelled.  

RACE 7 – GRIZZLY ENGINEERING - HEAVY DUTY LINKAGE PACE (2240MS)

TREACHEROUS SAINT

Glenn Douglas, on behalf of trainer Julie Douglas advised subsequent to a poor performance by Treacherous Saint at Swan Hill on 11 January 2022, the gelding had seemingly recovered satisfactorily, connections were at a loss to explain the performance and the intention is to persevere for one further start and should the gelding perform in a similar manner, Treacherous Saint would likely be spelled.
