QLD - COVID-19 Race Colours Requirements

06 January 2022
Logo

Given the increase in community transmission of COVID-19 and in the interests of participant safety, where an owner or trainer wishes for their colours to be worn by a driver, a clean set of colours should be provided in each instance (i.e., where possible the colours should not be worn by multiple drivers without being cleaned in between uses).

If unable to do so, trainers should assign drivers' colours to their horse/s by the advertised driver declaration time. In instances where a clean set of silks is not provided the driver may use his/her own drivers’ colours, with the approval of the Stewards.
