VETERAN horseman Harry Martin will be hoping his star pacer Titian Raider can give him a belated birthday present at Menangle tonight.

The Miracle Mile-winning horseman celebrated his 81st birthday on October 11 and for Titian Raider to extend his winning streak would be the perfect present for Martin.

Titian Raider heads into tonight’s Breeders Challenge Semi-Final as one of the main fancies in his $20,000 qualifier having won his last five starts.

The three-year-old has drawn barrier three with driver Glenn McElhinney taking the reins on the pacer.

He will face other in-form pacers such as Bar Room Banta, The Stain and Cassius Deck, all who have multiple wins alongside their names.

There are four Semi-Finals tonight with Captain Crusader the favourite in the other colts and geldings qualifier, while Chrissy Chick and Anntonia are the public elects in the two fillies’ Semi-Finals.

The iForm team have put together their best bets for tonight’s meeting:

Menangle best bet

Race 4: Captain Crusader (7)

Has more than a touch of class, looks the leader and he won't be for catching.

Menangle next best

Race 9: Rolamax (9)

Had no luck for the new yard last time, has a key driver engagement and is more an ach way ticket.

Play the exotics

The Menangle quaddie

Race 5: 12

Race 6: 8

Race 7: 10,11,8

Race 8: 6,9,1

$9 for 100%
