The Inter Dominion Event Committee (IDEC) along with Hosts, Harness Racing New South Wales and Club Menangle, have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2021 edition of the Australasian Young Drivers Championship (AYDC) for a second year in a row.

Due to the on-going uncertainty of interstate and international travel and quarantine restrictions due to COVID-19, the availability of Australia and New Zealand’s premier young drivers’ participation could not be guaranteed.

The eligibility criteria will not change, and we look forward to conducting the 2022 edition of the AYDC with the best young talent in the Southern Hemisphere in Victoria alongside the 2022 Inter Dominion Championships.
