Shepparton – 5 October 2021

RACE 3 – SADDLEWORLD SHEPPARTON 3YO PACE (2190 MS)

Isabel Walsh, trainer of Vintage Blu, advised subsequently from the event the gelding had recovered well.  Ms. Walsh attributed the performance to the gelding pulling hard throughout and racing wide early in a quick lead time.  Vintage Blu will continue with the current preparation.

Geelong – 6 October 2021

RACE 5 – APG’S $1.5M 2YO FINALS NIGHT FOR 2022 GRADUATES PACE (1609 MS)

Nathan Cahir, trainer of Nai Harn Bay advised subsequently from the event the gelding to be sore in the near knee and over the back.  Mr. Cahir stated that Nai Harn Bay has since been treated and appears well.  The gelding will resume fast work late this week before a decision is made on the current preparation.

RACE 9 – HANSON CLEANING SERVICES TROT

Brent Lilley, trainer of Queen Of Love, advised subsequently from the event the mare had recovered well, however has now exited the stable.

Tabcorp Park Melton – 8 October 2021

RACE 1 – DNR LOGISTICS VICBRED TROT (2240MS)

Chris Lang, trainer of Monarch Stride, advised subsequently from the event the gelding to have recovered well.  Mr. Lang stated that Monarch Stride has had a light week of training and will monitor the condition of the gelding over the next week before making a decision on the preparation.

RACE 6 – DILMAH TEA TROT (2240MS)

David Miles, trainer of Emerald Stride, advised subsequently from the event the mare had recovered well however she has now been retired.

RACE 8 – THE BIG SCREEN COMPANY TROT (2240MS)

Andy Gath, trainer of Tornado Valley, advised subsequently from the event the gelding had pulled up well.   Mr. Gath stated that the gelding will have derived plenty of benefit from the first up run and had worked well this week.  Tornado Valley will continue with the current preparation.

RACE 8 – APG – HOME OF AUSTRALASIA’S RICHEST 2YO TROTTING RACE PACE (2190)

Colleen Aiken, stable representative of Kekoa, advised subsequently from the event the filly had undergone blood tests that showed no abnormalities.   Ms. Aiken stated that the filly will stay in work but will have a change of diet before trialling. 

RACE 9 – VHRC / ALDEBARAN PARK BENEFITING OUR MEMBERS TROT (2190MS)

Joesph Galea, trainer of Allanon, advised subsequently from the event the gelding had undergone blood tests and was still awaiting the results.  Mr. Galea will advise Stewards once he has further information. 

Yarra Valley – 11 October 2021

RACE 6 – YARRA GLEN IGA PACE (1650MS)

Shaun Kittel, trainer of Daylight At Dawn, advised subsequently from the event the gelding had pulled up well.  Mr. Kittel stated the gelding would trial before continuing with the current preparation.
