Trainer Jason Grimson will be chasing another Group 3 victory at Menangle tonight.

IN form trainer Jason Grimson and driver Cameron Hart have dominated the Group 3 races at Menangle of late winning five of the last six features at that venue.

And they will be looking to continue that form on Saturday night with Boncel Benjamin.

Rated as the second favourite for tonight’s Group 3, Boncel Benjamin is making his debut for Grimson’s stable.

The gelding was formerly trained in Victoria and had his first look at Menangle last Saturday night where he finished third behind the leading pair Malcolms Rhythm and Rusty Crackers in a mile rate of 1:54.8 for the 2300m event.

Grimson also has Rays Choice engaged in tonight’s feature and Jack Trainor will drive him. The current favourite is Alta Orlando that will be driven by Luke McCarthy.

The top metropolitan reinsman recently drove his 100th winner for the season when saluting with Offyarocka Crocker at Menangle on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Hart and Trainor are battling it out for the top spot on the NSW Drivers’ Premiership with 11 wins separating them.

Hart catapulted to the lead whilst Trainor was serving a 28-day suspension.

Trainor resumed driving on Tuesday.

The iForm panel have put together their best bets for Menangle tonight:

Menangle best bet

Race 8: Rocky Creed (5)

Cameron Hart goes on and he might be able to work him to the front, where he would be hard to catch.

Menangle next best

Race 6: Zahven Banner (7)

Potential for a hot speed here and if they run a fast first half it gives this gut a good each way show at odds.

Play the exotics

The Menangle quaddie

Race 5: 7,9,10

Race 6: 5,6,7,10

Race 7: 10,11

Race 8: 1,5,6,7
