NSW: Coronavirus (COVID-19) Restrictions - UPDATE

From Monday 30 August 2021 HRNSW advises the following changes to Regional Racing:

Metropolitan Region

Once a licensee has gained their Travel Permit they will be able to participate at all Menangle, Penrith, and Bankstown meetings and restrictions in regards to Drivers and Stablehands will be removed.

Any licensee entering a facility for the purposes of engaging in Harness Racing activities must continue to provide a weekly negative COVID-19 test, within 7 days of the previous test; and/or any negative COVID-19 test as required by NSW Health Orders.

COVID test results can be forwarded to stewards@hrnsw.com.au.

Western Districts Region

The meeting scheduled for Dubbo on Friday 3 September will now be conducted at Bathurst. Nominations for this meeting will close on Wednesday 1 September.

Nominations from trainers in the Dubbo LGA will be accepted for all Western Districts meetings.

Hunter Region

Licensees will be free to participate in ALL Hunter Regional meetings (Newcastle and Tamworth).

Any person wishing to make enquiries should contact HRNSW Stewards on 9722 6655.

HRNSW management reminds all industry participants of the available industry support program.
