Harness Racing Victoria (HRV), a statutory body, is responsible for the control, development, and promotion of the Victorian harness racing industry. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a passion for racing who wants to take his/her career to the next level. It is a rare opportunity to join the Harness Racing Victoria’s Integrity Unit and contribute to maintaining and upholding the integrity of the sport.
As a Chief Steward you will be responsible for the administration, enforcement, and modification of the rules of racing and manage a panel of Stewards that is responsible for all racing activities at approximately 450 harness meetings per year.
This role provides leadership and mentoring for all stakeholders including colleagues, industry participants and licensees. The service level and work standards are critical to the attainment of HRV’s core business objectives of maintaining and enhancing the integrity of the harness racing industry in Victoria.

The successful applicant will be provided with on and off the job training.
The position holder must possess a current VIC motor vehicle driver’s licence
